GB Surfing is proud to announce a new partnership with St Agnes surf brand Finisterre, who will be the official kit provider for the British Surfing Team competing at the 2025 ISA World Surfing Games in El Salvador.
Finisterre will supply the official team kit and travel wear, supporting British athletes as they represent their nation on the global stage. The collaboration marks an important milestone for GB Surfing, as the national team continues to build its presence, profile and success on the international circuit.
This partnership unites two British organisations driven by a shared passion for surfing and innovation. Finisterre is redefining the possibilities of sustainable surfwear through pioneering fabrics and design, while GB Surfing is developing a world-class performance programme with Olympic ambitions. Together, they are pushing boundaries on land and in the water to ensure British surfers are equipped and supported to perform at the highest level.
The ISA World Surfing Games will see the world’s top surfers go head-to-head at El Salvador’s famous breaks of La Bocana and El Sunzal. For Team GB, the event is not only a chance to test themselves against the best, but also a key step in their long-term journey towards the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
Gwen Spurlock, GB Surfing Team Manager, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Finisterre as our official kit partner for the ISAs. Their roots in British surf culture, combined with their forward-thinking approach to performance and sustainability, make them the perfect partner to support our athletes as they take on the world’s best.”
Lawrence Stafford, Head of Community, Finisterre, added:
“Finisterre is proud to stand behind Team GB and the talented athletes that represent our country on the international stage. Surfing in Britain demands grit, determination and a deep connection to the sea – values that have shaped Finisterre from the very beginning. We wish them the best of luck in the water as they push the envelope and inspire the next generation.”
